Patricia Ann Rose was born on October 13,1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest of two beautiful girls born to the union of Leatrice and Albert J. Rose, Jr.

Patricia (Pat) attended Theodore Herzl and John McCosh Elementary schools, and Hyde Park High School. She received her Degree in Journalism at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which assisted in employment with WCIU-TV Channel 26. She began as the phone operator/receptionist and was moved to Traffic helping to put together the on-air schedule/logs while interacting with the station’s independent producers with very strong and challenging personalities. Changes were made when new management was brought into the station and Pat was transferred to work on the Stock Market Observer until the show and her position was eliminated. Pat made the brave decision to attend Chicago Baptist Institute for her Bachelor of Theology degree, which she received in 2007 while caring for her ailing mother. On June 22, 2008, she was ordained as Minister Patricia Rose.

Professing Christ at an early age Pat was involved in many ministries at The Way to Salvation Baptist Church (former Prairie Avenue Baptist Church) beginning from her young childhood, always making herself available to help anyone that needed assistance. She accepted every position and responsibility asked of her without hesitation, including her position as Pastor’s secretary and President of the Women’s Ministry. She enjoyed music and had an amazing tenor voice; she was choir director of TWTS Inspirational Choir and a member of Charity Ensemble under the direction of Minister Kensey

Her selfless commitment to her family was as strong as her faith as she cared for her grandmother, mother, father and sister who all suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Sadly this same disease would affect her own health, impacting on her ability to perform daily functions, slowly destroying her memory and eventually claiming her life. Pat also struggled with the loss of her sister Pamela in 2024, as she often shared how much she missed her after her passing.

Patricia departed this life on December 5, 2025 and will forever be in the hearts of cousin Dr. June Parks (Michael), stepmother Bettye Harrison, stepbrother Jorestis Weatherly, brother-in-law Rodney Andrews, The Way to Salvation Family....and her extended family, sisters Lisa Holmes, Glenna “Kathy” Terry, niece Jaquet Montgomery and nephew Jacoby Terry “who will forever be known as 4 Women and 2 Children (4W/2C)”.
