Cornelius René Houston Sr. was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry and Brenda Houston.
Cornelius accepted Christ at an earlier age. He was baptized by the late Elder C.L. Jackson of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church, where his grandmother, Evangelist Irene Hoyle and mother, Brenda, were faithful members.
Cornelius graduated from Sherman Elementary School and Chicago Vocational High School in 1996, where he was a proud football player and auto-tech.
Soon after, he married his childhood sweetheart Rondella Rhaburn, to this union three children were born, Alexus, Alesia, and Cornelius Jr.
Cornelius was an honorable and devoted 32 degree master Mason of the St. James Grand Lodge. Cornelius was a life-long Greenbay Packer fan “Go Pack Go” and a devoted Lebron fan.
He was an honorable and respectable man of service who loved his wife, children, parents, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his dutiful wife, Mrs. Rondella Houston, three beautiful children Alexus, Alesia, and Cornelius Jr. as well as his special #4, Antonette Canada, his father Mr. Jerry L. Houston (Danetta-wife); mother, Brenda Mitchell; his sisters, Aisha Houston, Sha’ron Diggins; grandmother, Obiedan Houston; godparents, Elder Eddie Trailor and Missionary Blondell Trailor, sisters-in-law Claudetta Griffith and Latricia Riley. Cornelius also leaves to cherish his memories a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
